I enjoy the occasional philosophy book, and this one was a double whammy, being also about the greatest baseball team EVER. I don't care of the Evil Empire has won 27 Word Series This book has a number of articles about various types of philosophy, and how they relate to being Red Sox fans, or even Red Sox players.

Some of them made me laugh, some of them made me cry, some of them inspired me, and a cou Well. Some of them made me laugh, some of them made me cry, some of them inspired me, and a couple even made me angry. But that's what philosophy does for you, right? Even the ones that make you angry make you think seriously about the things you believe and, if you are a thinking person, they cause you to challenge everything.
Did I change anything?
But I learned some things. I learned some things about the Red Sox, and I learned some things about philosophy.
There's even an article by a fan of "that team" in New York, and another one by a fan of the Cardinals. There's a little history between our two teams, as well.

After all, the Cards took two of those seven game World Series from us, but then we got one in four from them. In my mind that almost makes us even. Here's to "fuzzy math. I heartily recommend this book to serious Red Sox fans. It's good reading, in spite of a couple of articles that are just a tad dry for my taste. But there's a common bond that we can find in there for all Red Sox fans.

I have enjoyed this series for years. They have almost everything tied to philosophy For a member of Red Sox Nation, it was a great read, amusing, and thought provoking. Even brings greater pleasure to watching the Sox.
